Volunteer at a Hospital in Palestine

Palestine Summer Encounter offers opportunities for medical related volunteer work. These opportunities are generally reserved for those in the fields of medicine or public health.

Tasks for these types of opportunities might include:

+ Accompanying/ observing in a hospital setting.

+ Working on health education or other relevant programs.

Note: We do not guarantee any specific volunteer placement. As a participant in the Palestine Summer Encounter program you will be placed at a volunteer assignment based on your skill sets, your work/volunteer/education background, your interests and the stated needs of the organizations that we serve. General Info.

Palestine Summer Encounter is a one to three month service learning and cultural immersion program in Bethlehem, Palestine. Participants study Arabic in and outside of the classroom setting, live with a Palestinian host family, volunteer with one of thirty-seven participating nonprofits and organizations and meet with both Israeli and Palestinian peacemakers.
