Palestine Summer Encounter offers opportunities for short term volunteers to teach art or help with murals or arts and crafts projects.

Tasks for these types of opportunities might include:

+ Organizing and supervising the painting of a peace mural.

+ Teaching music or arts and crafts at a summer camp.

+ Working with young artists / musicians.

Note: We do not guarantee any specific volunteer placement. As a participant in the Palestine Summer Encounter program you will be placed at a volunteer assignment based on your skill sets, your work/volunteer/education background, your interests and the stated needs of the organizations that we serve. General Info.

Palestine Summer Encounter is a one to three month service learning and cultural immersion program in Bethlehem, Palestine. Participants study Arabic in and outside of the classroom setting, live with a Palestinian host family, volunteer with one of thirty-seven participating nonprofits and organizations and meet with both Israeli and Palestinian peacemakers.
